In my driving years I have owned a few cars, many of them being AMCs. This section of these homepages are made to give a small idea of the work involved with old cars in general. Nothing really useful can be found here, but if you're curious and have some time to kill, check out the links. / A-V Nauha (AMCCF President/Webmaster).

AMCs I've owned in the past:

Model Year Engine & Transmission Color Currently When I got it What happened to it
Hornet 2D Sedan 1970 232cid I6 & Borg-Warner Alumnium M-43 Automatic Moroccan Brown / Black decent project, lots of work but still a complete car Worked on it for couple years, got it roadworthy and sold it just before I got it registered.
Hornet SST 2D Sedan 1971 304cid V8 & Borg-Warner Alumnium M-44 Automatic Silver & Black Vinyl Roof parts car status, no axles / engine sold it to a friend, and he's working on it.
Hornet 2D Sedan 1970 232cid I6 & Borg-Warner Alumnium M-43 Automatic Matador Red & White Roof hard project, but it still had potential. sold to a friend for restoration & bought it back a couple years later in worse shape and sold it again for parts.
Hornet 2D Sedan 1970 304cid V8 & Borg-Warner T-96J Manual Bronze impossible project, rusted out totally parted it out
Hornet 4D SST Sedan 1970

232cid I6 & Borg-Warner T-96J Manual

Flat Black a parts car, rustout and 50% parts missing... ended up parting the rest of it out. There wasn't much useful left...
Concord 2D Sedan 1978 258cid I6 & TorqueFlyte 904 Automatic Yellow rustout, parted out, no engine, no tranny..etc. ended up taking the parts that were useful and scrapping the rusted out body.
Rebel 550 4D Sedan 1967 232cid I6 & Borg-Warner Alumnium M-43 Automatic Red & Black Vinyl quite a project, but drivable Got it nicely drivable, but had to sell it to get my tuition costs paid.
Ambassador 990 4D 1966 258cid + BW T-14 manual Dark brown / black no title, original engine gone, etc. took out the 258cid, and sold the chassis.

Here pictured are the 2 drivable AMCs I owned some while ago, I sold the brown one just before it was ready for traffic...(more pics: side, front, both)
